Self Love as the Greatest Freedom

Once you allow yourself to let go of old belief systems and fully embrace self-love, you begin a journey of going deeper and deeper within yourself.
To meet both your light and your dark.
To laugh at your funny behaviors and mistakes instead of shaming yourself for them.
To create true intimacy within yourself and with your body.
To feel sensual and alive within your own being.
To recognize how the universe moves through love within you.
You are your best friend.
Your best lover.
Your best mother and father.
Your best teacher.
If you choose to be.
And from there, you begin to fall in love with everything around you.
Because once you love yourself, you love others more deeply.
And at the same time, you no longer need them to love you back to feel whole.
You stop grasping.
You stop trying to be liked.
You are free to love as you are.
And you are no longer confusing fear, attachment, and validation with love.
That is the greatest freedom of them all.
And maybe the sacred union you always longed for was never meant to be with an external being, but with your very own soul? With so much love, Avishag
